Wedding

Last weekend, my brother Jared got married! He married Ashley Castner, now Ashley Hay!

It was a perfect day. Ashley invited my mom, Molly, and me to get ready with her bridal party and doing the traditional primping. I got airbrushed make-up, which was a first. Treat yo self.

Alex performed the ceremony at the Indiana State House. Afterward, we sent the lovebirds off with bubbles. They joined the wedding party, including my little brother Sammy, in a trolly and headed to the reception, which took place at Allison Mansion at Marian University.

At the reception, we ate salmon and Long’s donuts and danced into the wee hours. Sammy gave a great speech, in which he referenced Ashley as his fourth mother!

It was fun to see family and friends from many walks of life! Jared and Ashley went to high school together, so there were lots of old Ben Davis connections. There were plenty of Olivet Tigers present, as well. I wished the night would never end.

We are so excited to add a new person to the family. Especially one so wonderful as Ashley! I hope you enjoy some pictures from wedding week. Some are mine, and some are stolen from Molly.
