Fin de Semana

Today will be a short and sweet. We have an early flight out of town. It's festival time in Madrid, which means no class and a weekend trip!

May is a well-celebrated month in Spain. There are numerous national holidays (festivals), and then some local holidays too. Yesterday was Spanish Labor Day, and today many businesses are off to make a long weekend, or fin de semana. Yesterday, we spent some time walking the city with a new friend, Rodrigo. And let me tell you, the city was hopping. These Madrillenos know how to fiesta!
